André Frappier is an accomplished guitarist with a broad musical background, playing and recording with various artists worldwide.
Currently the lead guitarist for the Godmother of Soul Ms. Patti LaBelle, André has been touring with the legendary artist since the world opened back up. André is also the current lead guitarist for international pop sensation JJ Lin, completing both the JJ20 World Tour and the Sanctuary 2.0 World Tour. You can also catch André Frappier onstage with Nicole Scherzinger, as well as P. Diddy, having worked with Bad Boy for nearly 20 years.
For two years, Frappier was the lead guitarist for Ariana Grande, performing on the Honeymoon tour, Dangerous Woman record and tour, and Saturday Night Live. André completed the Under the Influence tour as the lead guitarist for both Jeezy and Ty Dolla $ign. Prior to that, the lead guitarist for pop artist Ne-Yo, performing on both the Because of You and Year of the Gentleman tours. André was also the musical director for Slum Village, The Temptations, as well as for one of the music industry’s most influential hip-hop artists and producers, J. Dilla. Additionally, André has performed and toured with David Foster, Wyclef Jean, Earl Klugh, 2 Chainz, Roy Hargrove, Katharine McPhee, Rihanna, Jill Scott, Eddie Levert, Mary J. Blige, Lauryn Hill, Jaheim, Judith Hill and many others. André is the current guitarist and staff member for the historic Motown Museum in Detroit, MI.
Television performances include Saturday Night Live, The Tonight Show, Late Night with Conan O’ Brien, The American Music Awards, and Jimmy Kimmel Live!.
André's guitar is featured on Ariana Grande’s Dangerous Woman, as well as Chris Brown's 2012 record, Fortune and soul artist Dwele’s record Some Kinda. His sounds can also be heard on Kelly Clarkson's Grammy award-winning single, "Mr. Know It All", for which he too was recognized by the Recording Academy. André Frappier currently has one solo project under his belt, and is also one-half of the duo Small Creatures, currently working on their second studio EP.
